Rebecca & Zito – Classic, Romantic Wedding

When I got off the phone we started speaking… I left to find a book at the shelf, when I came back he was no longer there but I found a note that he left on my desk, it had his name and number…

We met while studying at university in the library (in Australia), we happened to sit next to each other at a

computer, my mobile rang- it was my mother speaking in Portuguese, he then found out I too

spoke Portuguese. When I got off the phone we started speaking… I left to find a book at the

shelf, when I came back he was no longer there but I found a note that he left on my desk, it

had his name and number… I decided to call him one day and we organised a first date… From

them on our journey began… five years later we married…

Do you have any advice for brides and grooms?

Make sure at some point during the day, the two of you take some time out alone. Even if it’s

just to go for a short walk, or sit together outside. The day flies by, you will be happy you

spend just a few moments alone to take it all in.

Which was the best decision made for the wedding?

Not to get caught up in perfection and to celebrate our love
